My name is Skylar and I go to Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas! My dad's the minister at the Church of Christ in Granby and Lord willing I'll be doing a PR internship at Granby this summer! I've been a member since I was eleven years old, and I can't wait to help organize events and keep track of things to do! Im using this blog as a communication tool and invitation to everyone reading to come participate! I think the main reason for the tiny size of the Church is people don't know about it. What's a better way to find out than through a large crowd of people? : )
I'm happy to announce we have finally purchased the building from the seventh day Adventist church!! That means we can change things up, which I believe will also spark interest from the community!! PRAISE GOD!! :)
Any way, I hope this blog will be a blessing to you, and inspire those to keep up with what our God is doing in Granby, Colorado!!

Called
Will you be part of this mission? This page is dedicated to saving lost souls in Granby Colorado. People don't realize this, but the small mountain towns are more of a mission feild than over sea places. The population in Granby is 1,656 and the Church is less than 20 members. This is a call out for help to all of the Lord's church in every place to be part of the mission feild in Granby, to come together and pray for His people to be used for growth!
I find that though the number of members is small, His church is VERY much alive! We have powerful leadership and deep spiritual maturity among the men, and the love and eagerness from the church as a whole is like God's scriptures in human form-"living and active, sharper than any double edged sword, piercing through heart and soul, joint and marrow." Hebrews 4:12. These people change you. Everybody should know how it feels to know this group of believers! Here's what started this mission : Each member is full of many ideas and plans on reaching out to the community surrounding us. Now we are asking for you to join us through prayers to make them work!
pray that this summer and next chapter in God's plans for His people will be full of action and zeal, and that Satan will fear that great power that'll come from your prayers for us.
Since there are so many awesome ideas and plans for this body of believers, I decided to start this blog as a way of communication and a way to stay organized to plan out activities! Please, be part of our mission and keep the prayers coming!
